Green Identity

We implement our “green” identity from the very first stage of construction. We use natural building materials and renewable energy sources, aiming to significantly reduce our environmental footprint. The company ensures low energy consumption in its buildings in accordance with KENAK (the Greek Regulation on the Energy Performance of Buildings) and applies, where permitted, the New Building Regulation (NOK), Article 10 of Law 4067/2012.
Our buildings are certified Energy Class A+.

The term “energy performance” refers to the amount of energy consumed in a building, including heating, domestic hot water production, cooling, ventilation, and lighting. Energy performance is expressed through numerical indicators calculated by taking into account insulation, technical specifications, design, and location in relation to climate factors, sun exposure, and the building’s energy production. In addition, factors affecting energy demand—such as indoor temperatures—are also considered. Our buildings carry an A+ certification, the highest energy performance rating in Greece. NOVA CONSTRUCTIONS S.A. operates with environmental responsibility and aims to reduce its own energy footprint.

Smart management of the building envelope
We adapt the building’s exposure to weather conditions and apply solutions that keep the home cool in summer and warm in winter, reducing the need for heating and air conditioning.

Large openings
Proper placement of large openings significantly improves heating and cooling performance. Through careful design, we ensure natural ventilation, removal of humidity and pollutants, and simultaneous energy savings.
Correct orientation
Correct building orientation enhances energy autonomy and enables better use of space. A key prerequisite for us is selecting the appropriate plot and positioning the building correctly within it.
