At NOVA Constructions, as part of our broader policy to support sustainability and responsible business, we faithfully adopt the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) philosophy, operating in full compliance with applicable national and European environmental legislation and demonstrating responsibility us towards the environment, society and corporate governance.

The ESG philosophy we adopt includes:

  • Respect for the environment and climate change, policies to reduce CO2 and other pollutants; minimize air and water pollution, energy efficiency, etc.
  • Issues of social character, labor and human rights, health and insurance, respect for diversity and gender equality, etc.
  • Corporate governance codes that mainly concern justice, transparency, accountability, and responsibility in the operation of the organization.

At NOVA Constructions we are fully aware of our responsibility towards the environment and society. The Company operates respecting the principles of the circular economy, ensuring the optimal management of natural resources, the promotion of recycling and the utilization of secondary raw materials.

Specific actions:

  • At our headquarters, we already implement recycling policies for paper, plastic, and batteries. We use state-of-the-art LED lamps and automated systems for proper management and saving of electricity.
  • We have already renewed our vehicle fleet, replacing it with advanced hybrid vehicles and diesel that greatly reduce emissions (Reduction from 118 CO2 in 2020 to 97 CO2 in 2021).
  • In the field of our constructions, we use special systems for the management and recycling of chemical and solid waste.
  • At the same time, we have already entered the ISO 14001 certification process.

The goal of Corporate Governance is to align the long-term interests of the company with the interests of the Owners (Shareholders) and other key Stakeholders.

The goal of Corporate Governance is to align the long-term interests of the company with the interests of the Owners (Shareholders) and other key Stakeholders.

Specific actions:

  • We adopt and apply the basic principles of the new corporate governance code (June 2021)
  • In October 2021, the Company was evaluated for its Creditworthiness by ICAP with a BB rating (3rd highest rating on a 10-point scale) and a positive Outlook and special mention for the very good financial situation, the consistency of transactions and the strongly upward trend works
  • The company’s balance sheets are audited by PWC chartered accountants
  • NOVA Constructions is in the certification stage with ISO 9001.
